Avery turned one year on October 3! We had his birthday party the week before and it was such a sweet celebration!! 
At one year, Avery weighs 22 pounds 4 ounces (55%) and is 31 inches tall (85%).
Avery is wearing mostly 12-18 month tops and 6-12 month bottoms.
He is wearing a size 4 diaper.
Avery has 10 teeth! I looked in his mouth one day and there were two more just sitting there!
He's still doing better at night and now sleeps all the way through! Hallelujah! Many people would say to me- "he is still not sleeping through the night??" But it was really hard for me to to care about that when he was so easy and happy in every other aspect of his life!!
Avery stays awake about 3 hours before his next nap.
Avery naps twice per day when we are home, typically at 10 and 2:30. He sleeps around 2 hours.
Avery still sleeps with his arm around Garrison.
He is now nursing just twice a day! Dropping one feeding per month until he is weened.
Avery is starting to love to eat! He hardly ears puréed foods anymore. He also loves puffy cereal, yogurt melts, banana, avacado, peas, soft apples, blueberries, carrots, eggs, sweet potatoes and mozzarella cheese.
Avery signs water when he wants a drink and drinks out of a sippy cup with a straw.
Avery is still taking a bottle once a week when I work.
He can hold out the number one when you ask him how old he is going to be on his birthday!
He doesn't talk a ton but can say mama, dada, papa, ball, grandpa, ____
He, like his older brother and sister, loves to hold on to and carry around any object he can find that fits in his cute little hand.
He pulls himself up to standing on everything and everyone.
He cruises a little bit along the furniture and will go from one object to another if it's close.
He can stand on his own for about 15-20 seconds but he does not like it!!
He has taken a few steps but, like his siblings, would rather just crawl.
He loves to help give Roxy a biscuit when we put her in her crate.
He can climb the stairs and is getting fast.
He climbs up on everything he can! Low chairs, the couch, he tries to put a leg over the tub... Everything!
Avery loves to dance and gets very excited when the Paw Patrol song comes on the tv! He races in to where the tv is, gets up on his knees and starts dancing around!
He loves to jump on the trampoline and giggles like crazy when Ryane jumps with him.
He loves to play in Roxy's water bowl, the pantry and the dishwasher. Basically wherever he shouldn't be playing. He is starting to get into some trouble!
Avery is just as busy as Ryane was at this age. So very busy.
Happy first birthday, my sweetest boy. You somehow managed to steal my entire heart when you were born! I love you!!
