A new trick

Funny story. The other day I walked into the bathroom, tore off a piece of toilet paper and blew my nose. Kaden comes crawling full speed into the bathroom, stands up at the roll of toilet paper, tears off a square, brought it up to his nose, and blew!! It was so funny, so I decided to get it on video! He is such a little parrot!

Learning more signs

Kaden has been doing so well learning his signs lately! He continues to sign "more" and "eat" on a regular basis. In the last couple of days, he has imitated several signs for "bath," "milk" and "water." Today during dinner he did the sign for cereal by himself! The sign looks similar to the "okay" hand sign but with your thumb and finger pinching together (like you are picking up a piece of cereal). He is so stinkin cute... and smart! Enjoy the video!

Valentine's Day

Here are some plates I did for my friend Lisa for Valentine's Day! They turned out cute and we had fun stamping Josh's cute little feet in heart shapes for his daddy and grandmas!

Happy Birthday, Grandma

Today is Pam's birthday... Happy birthday!! Wish we could be there with you to celebrate! We can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

Kaden had a great first Valentine's Day. He took a 2 1/2 hour nap in the morning which started the day off just right! Although it is weird.. whenever he naps for a long time, it seems like he gets more tired more quickly throughout the day. We then ran to Babies R Us (it was Saturday...) and then Kaden took a rose to Grammie and one to Mimi.

We had our first ever "family playgroup" where we brought our husbands to come and meet some of the other dads. It was fun! It is so funny watching Kaden. He doesn't stop moving at home, but I think he is shy! It takes him a little while to warm up to the other kids and just sits and watches them for a bit before he gets going. When I think of Kaden, I definitely don't think shy... but after a little while of baby watching, he was on a mission to mooch some cheerios from some of the other kids. Then he crawled around and explored, played with some toy cars, and mingled with some of the dads sitting on the floor. His friend Josh was there as well. They both stood up on a table together, and for the first time (I think) really recognized each other and smiled! It was too cute!

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! Or Balentimes day as my mom, Eric and I say!

HAPPY 11 MONTHS!

Kaden turned 11 months old on the 8th! Kaden loves to:

*Clap! He claps when you tell him to clap or when you say paddycake!

*Immitate Henry. Henry is my parent's dog. He is not the nicest dog in the world... showing his teeth and hissing when new people come around. Whenever Kaden gets too close, Henry hisses at him. Now when you ask Kaden "What does Henry say?" Kaden hisses!

*Kaden loves to dance and is always bouncing and waving his arms around when music starts to play!

*Vacuum... I think I have mentioned this before, but Kaden vacuums the entire house with his Fisher Price vacuum!

*Kiss Harley. I am not sure if it is because Harley is soft or what, but whenever Kaden sees him, he crawls as fast as he can to him and puts his face on him and gives him a smooch!

*He has a new tooth! Kaden's top tooth came in a couple of weeks ago, and two more top ones are making their way down.

*Explore. Kaden is definitely an explorer. He loves to search in cabinets and drawers and loves to figure things out. He likes to try to put the top on things, like the cap on his bottle.

*Talk. He talks ALL DAY LONG! So far I don't think he has said anything meaningful... or in English, I should say. But from the second he wakes up to the second he goes to bed, he chats non-stop.

*Drink from a sippy cup. So maybe he doesn't love this... but he's getting better at it!!

*He loves to point at everything, especially pictures. We have a room divider with pictures in it and he always crawls up to it, sits on his knees and points to pictures of himself!

I can't believe out little buggyboo will be one in less than a month!

New toys

One of our sweet neighbors gave us some toys that her son doesn't use anymore. One of them is the John Deere tractor! Kaden has had so much fun with it- it plays a manly song about getting dirty and riding around in the tractor... so funny. He dances to the song and is figuring out how to ride on top of it and push it along with his legs. He also inherited a dump truck and has been having a blast putting his toys inside it and pushing it around!

Shoes, shoes, shoes

Little tennis shoes and mary jane shoes have been selling like crazy at Be-dazzled lately. Here are a couple of the ones I did a few weeks ago and will post the others when I figure out why they are not uploading to My Pictures!
