Ryane is doing really well at 3 months old. When she's awake, she is generally happy unless it's getting close to nap time. Speaking of nap time, that's not going that well! Damn you, 45 minute interrupter! I remember having the boys "cry it out" when this happened with them... but for now I'm okay with picking her up and rocking her back to sleep. She's a bit spoiled, but I'm okay with that for now.
Nights are going great. A typical night consists of putting her to bed around 7:30 and she's not waking up (most mornings) until between 6:30 and 7. She rocks!!
Ryane's still in size 2 diapers. She is also still in 3-6 month clothing although the one piece outfits are short on her. I haven't weighed her, but I'm guessing she weights about 15 pounds. The carrier is so hard to carry that most of the time if she is awake, I just take her out and carry her or put her in the Bjorn.
She's so smiley! She still smiles with her whole body which makes at least part of the picture blurry when I try to capture it. She smiles at Nic every time he talks to her. She also loves to smile at Kaden and she talks to him as much as he talks to her (which for anyone who knows Kaden, is a lot). She started laughing out loud this week (14 weeks) but it's not that funny baby giggle. It's more of a squeak and a ha ha! It's actually very similar to how Cam laughed.
Ryane WON'T take a bottle... which makes back to work pretty hard. Thankfully my mom has been bringing her up to the hospital twice a day and I nurse her out in the car. We are trying, but she doesn't want to take one. She will play with it for awhile and then get mad. We've tried several different kinds of bottles, but still no luck. This also happened with Cam and I kick myself because we didn't do more bottles at the beginning with her... but with 3 kids, it's so much easier just to nurse her. Hopefully soon. Fingers crossed.
Well, it's been 45 minutes and baby girl is awake again... Time to rock her back to sleep.... Sweet lil thing :)
