One month

I haven't been able to keep up with posting regularly and now Ryane is 6 weeks old! 

Ryane had her one month checkup:

Weight: 11 pounds, 10.5 ounces - >95th percentile
Length: 22 1/4 inches - 95th percentile
Head: 14 1/8 cm - 25th percentile

Her growth pattern is similar to the boys but she is definitely bigger.  A pound bigger than Cam was at a month old, in fact!

Ryane started smiling at 3 weeks old, although it's been difficult to catch one on camera.  She has 2 different smiles- an open mouth smile and a full out cute smile with her mouth and her eyes.  Usually if she is giving a big smile, she coos first!  She started talking to us around 4 weeks and has even said some ah-ooos. 

The boys LOVE her.  Kaden is amazing with her and runs to her to talk to her when she is crying.  He talks baby talk to her and his voice gets about 2 octaves higher than it should.  Cam is more concerned about her when he doesn't know where she is.  He likes to get in her face and then back up and poke her in the nose.

She's had such a busy 6 weeks since she's been here.  Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and her first snow! 

Here's are my babies on Christmas eve (couldn't get a picture of them all together, unfortunately, and don't think that will happen very often):

Last week, at 5 weeks old, Ryane slept 7.5 hours!  Her general sleep pattern at night in the past week has been to eat around 9:00-10:00 and then wake up between 4:00-4:30.  What a good girl!!  Kaden was 9 weeks and Cam was 11 before they did that and that was after 3 nights of sleep training with Daddy!

She's a good girl, I must admit.  She set herself up on her own schedule of eat, play, sleep.  In the mornings she takes 30-45 minute naps but generally sleeps 3 hours in the afternoon!  The evenings aren't her favorite time of day and it takes some work to keep her settled.  But the good news is that she will settle down eventually (whereas that wasn't the case for the boys).

She's in size 1 diapers and could probably move to size 2 any time now.  I also just put her in 3-6 month clothing because she looked like she was wearing 3/4 length sleeves with capri pants!  The 3-6 month one piece outfits fit great, and 3-6 month pants are a little big in the waist, for now! 

I'm still obsessed.  She's pretty great.  Happy one month baby girl.
